Fenn Wright secure new premises for Octavia House
We are delighted to have been able to find a new site for Octavia House at the former United Reformed Church in Great Baddow. This will be the fourth location for the independent schooling providers who already have schools in Vauxhall, Walworth and Kennington.
Rated an Outstanding Provider by Ofsted, Octavia House offer sector-leading therapeutic schooling for children aged between 5 – 17 who have suffered adverse childhood experiences, known as ACE’s. Including trauma and toxic stress, they work with pupils who have a range of social, emotional, mental health and learning needs.
On the market for offers in excess of £600,000, the former Church and meeting hall are believed to date back to the mid 1800’s in parts. In a prominent position in the village of Great Baddow, the property is just 2.3 miles from Chelmsford and easily accessed from the A12 with ample parking for visitors and staff.
Richard Leonard of Octavia House said “We are delighted to have secured this attractive multi-use property and look forward to working with Essex County Council in bringing forward a new therapeutic school to serve the needs of the children of Essex”
